Hujan Locale is the latest creation by acclaimed Chef Will Meyrick (of Sarong and Mamasan fame). Hujan’s ethos is to source local ingredients whenever possible and embrace the ‘found and forage’ movement that is sweeping the globe. Since its’ inception, Hujan is firmly placed on Ubud’s list of fine eateries. Hujan Locale tips the scale for its’ ever changing menu of innovative, bold flavors, exciting blend of spices and beautiful presentation.
The unusual melding of exotic combinations will melt in your mouth and it exudes freshness right down to their titled food selections; ‘from the boats’ and ‘from the farm’, to their cocktails which is also indicative of all things local; coconut, lychee, mint and passion fruit. Interiors are simple with a touch of vintage. Upstairs, some of the tables overlook a Balinese temple within a family compound. Thus, giving you a more magical and Bali experience.
The food is so fresh, it's almost like you visited the farm and picked the produce yourself. Hujan's menu is always changing, so you will never tire of their inventive cuisine.
Gourmandos, petite travelers, bohemian belles and chic jetsetters.
Although dishes are geared toward a more mature palette, the young ones will enjoy their refined mac and cheese and Hujan's savory, long pizza.
