The definition of the word bagus means good in Indonesian. Here, the name Pizza Bagus says it all. Pizza Bagus was the first Italian restaurant in Ubud and has withstood the comings and goings of many so-called pizza joints for over a decade. The décor is simple with both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as an enclosed air-con room with Wi-Fi for those who can’t stand the heat.
It’s ground zero for families with children, especially for the picky ones whose palates scream out for pizza. Pizza Bagus wants nothing to do with Indonesian satays and foods prepared in a banana leaf, so if your brood wants tasty pizza, delicious pasta and gelato for dessert, then this is the place for you.
There’s loads of activities to keep the tots and big kids busy….table foosball, dartboard, checkers and backgammon. They even have a small play area for the wee ones. Sweet!
