Legong Dance:
Legong is a refined dance form characterised by intricate finger movements, complicated footwork, and expressive gestures and facial expressions, accompanied by gamelan music. As the legend goes, it is regarded as a heavenly dance of divine nymphs. Of all classical Balinese dances, it still remains the epitome of femininity and grace.
Barong Dance:
Barong is a storytelling dance narrating the fight between good and evil. The folklore takign place in Bali in the 10th Century involves the lion-like mythical creature Barong and the King of Bali, black magic, battles and more to keep the kids highly entertained…and learning more about Balinese culture!
