Up in the Bali mountains is where all the fresh vegetables on the island come from. Head out to this lush green area for a one or two-day trip. Coming from the South driving on the little mountain plateau, you will pass Bali’s Botanical Garden with the Tree top park, Bedegul’s vegetable market and Lake Bratan with the Ulun Danau temple.
The next village you will arrive at is Buyan: your Strawberry Stop.
En route, watch as the beautiful flowers, vegetables and strawberries pass by. Step out and have a look at the lake, the temple, and walk to the strawberry farm. Grab a bag and see who can pick the reddest, the biggest or the sweetest strawberries! Pay by weight. Simple, joyful, delicious.
Kids get in touch with where their food really comes from.
Big kids, little kids, and parents too!
Great to combine with other sightseeing or activities in Bedegul area or a fun stop driving up North.
Lakeside village Buyan. Past Ulun Batur Temple. A "Pick Strawberries" sign to the left will indicate - on the same road leading to the temple.
