BLAK Kid’s Boutique in Canggu Bali *CLOSED

There’s a new kid’s shop on the block and it’s pretty darn fabulous! What block, you ask? Batu Bolong, the hip strip in Canggu where you’ll find all sorts of funky cafes, restaurants and shops popping up on an almost weekly basis.

You can’t miss BLAK – it’s got a brightly painted stripy tree out the front and when we visited, the tree was in full bloom and bright pink! You’ll find a whole host of goodies inside: fabulous gift items from hair clips and jewellery to dolls and tote bags. They stock a great range of kid’s clothes, including BLAK’s own tween label.

There’s also a good range of books and best of all, the owner Belinda, is setting up a library so kids can borrow from their ever expanding selection. Singapore folk may remember Belinda from her great shop in the Bukit Timah, ‘When Billy Grows Up’

In case you’re wondering what BLAK stands for – it’s ‘B’ for be brave, ‘L’ for love yourself, ‘A’ for authentic and ‘K’ for kind heart. A kid’s shop with a feel good message – works for us!
