Croissants Everybody Is Talking About!

Bakehouse In Wanchai Hong Kong

The croissant are flakier, fluffier and more buttery than ever – at least that’s what Hongkongers are saying about the French pastries at chef Grégoire Michaud’s Bakehouse in Wanchai. Hand-crafted in house every day, on the menu are leavened sourdough loaves, Danishes and a range of pastries – to be enjoyed in the bakery’s contemporary cafe area or taken away and devoured elsewhere.

Why Little Steps Loves It:

It takes 48 hours to craft one loaf of Bakehouse’s sourdough bread, from fermentation to hydration. That’s how much attention to detail and effort goes into every creation, each of which is handmade daily using the finest ingredients.

Who It's Perfect For:

Pastry connoisseurs, croissant fans and bakery lovers.

What Else:

Pain au chocolate and croissants are available from 8am, fresh from the oven, and sweet pastries come out in time for elevenses. Afternoon tea is a treat in itself with freshly baked scones. That's every day, except Mondays when Bakehouse is closed.
