New Restaurant Alert: Francis West Opens In Central!

Ever since opening in 2018 in Wan Chai, Francis has gained a number of devoted followers thanks to its delicious Middle Eastern-inspired dishes. And they have just announced that they have officially opened right in the heart of Soho! Francis West will focus on flavors from North Africa, more specifically Algerian, Tunisian, Libyan and Moroccan dishes.

The menu has just been released and features sharing dishes or mezze, like raw tuna in argan oil, almond and green chili, spiced beef cigars, delicious burik which is a mix of potato, harissa, mozzarella and egg as well as mouth-watering lamb ribs. Vegetables are celebrated here so definitely order the Jerusalem artichoke, cauliflower in preserved lemon, tarragon and yogurt as well as vegetarian Moroccan couscous. Leave room for mains like the meguez (the spicy homemade lamb sausage), sardines, whole turbot with pumpkin “chershi”, beef kebabs and veal shank and couscous. Polish it all off with Francis’s take on the popular Lebanese dessert, knafeh, made with mozzarella, vanilla and pistachio crust. Bookings can be made via this link.
