ROUCOU Introduces Hong Kong’s First Artisanal Cheese Omakase

Perfect For Cheese Lovers

Lactose intolerants beware, and cheese lovers read on – your prayers have been answered! ROUCOU, Hong Kong’s first cheese omakase, has opened its doors in SoHo, Central, right in front of PMQ, offering a perfect date night spot for those seeking a unique culinary experience without the heaviness of a full meal.

This French-Japanese concept, founded by fromager Jeremy Evrard, is a cheese lover’s paradise. ROUCOU showcases artisanal cheeses in ways you’ve never imagined, from grilled and melted to baked, grated, and sliced. The bar menu features playful creations like the melted open sandwich, a crisp puff pastry base topped with fresh artichokes, roasted pine nuts, and a tableside drizzle of rich, melted cheese.

For a more intimate experience, the hidden eight-seat omakase counter, set to launch in early April, promises a sophisticated blend of French flavors and Japanese artistry. Paired with French wines or Japanese sake, it’s an ideal setting for a romantic evening or a special celebration.
