Are you looking for a great place to take the kids for a snack, lunch, or an early dinner? TOZZO is a charming Italian-Japanese pastry café located on the 2nd floor of JC Contemporary in Tai Kwun, making it an ideal stop after a day of exploring Central.
TOZZO is led by Chef and Founder Fabio Bardi, who has been recognized as Tatler Dining Hong Kong’s Pastry Chef of the Year 2024. Inspired by the beloved Italian pastry maritozzo, TOZZO features a fun atmosphere highlighted by its adorable chubby red mascot. Chef Fabio, originally from Sardinia, brings a wealth of culinary expertise to the café, blending classic European flavors with innovative techniques. The menu includes the signature maritozzo – delicate soft brioche buns filled with creamy goodness – offered in both sweet and savory varieties. Kids will enjoy the chocolate maritozzo, along with seasonal options as well as the buttermilk pancakes.
For breakfast, you can try the maritozzo filled with scrambled eggs and guanciale or avocado for a delicious twist. In addition to these tasty pastries, TOZZO serves freshly churned gelato with seasonal flavors such as Montblanc chestnut and black sesame. You can enjoy their gelato on-site or take it to go, with a variety of toppings available! For lunch, TOZZO also features a selection crafted by Chef-Consultant Agustin Balbi from the acclaimed MICHELIN-starred ANDŌ. Highlights include butter soy sauce mushroom linguine, carbonara spaghetti, and the signature TOZZO burger served with fries.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 AM to 8 PM, and closed on Mondays. Walk-ins only.
