Char Yoga & Wellness was founded by yoga instructor Charmaine Cheng, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. After various operations, she questioned whether she would ever exercise again. She started to tailor her practices and meditations to her recovery and began a YouTube channel. Now she has embarked on a new journey by opening her own wellness/yoga studio that caters to cancer survivors. Besides offering yoga and singing bowl therapy, they also offer job opportunities for cancer warriors who are struggling to resume work, providing them with flexible hours and a loving community.
