Enter An Online Dance Competition With BallroomBees!

Has your kid got great rhythm and loves to dance? Then sign them up for the Ballroom Bees online dance competition and they could win a HK$2,000 cash prize if they are crowned champion in their age group!

It’s easy – choose a BallroomBees dance, film it, then click on the link to fill out the form

At the same link, you’ll also find the BallroomBees tutorial videos and the submission deadlines.

Videos need to be filmed horizontally and be 90 seconds or less. Remind your child to state their name and age before they wow the judging panel with their moves!

Once your child is happy with their video competition entry, fill out the registration form, upload your child’s video and pay HK$100.

All proceeds from entry costs will go to the Nesbitt Centre, which helps adults with learning disabilities with vocational education and social enterprises.

You have until March 11 to submit the video and winners will be announced on March 18!

Judges will select one BallroomBees Champion from one of five Ballroom Bees age groups:

• BabyBees (1.5 – 2.5yrs)
• GrowingBees (2.5 – 4yrs)
•  HoneyBees (4 – 6yrs)
•  SuperBees (6 – 8yrs)
• MightyBees (8 – 11yrs)

There will also be more winners in the six following open categories:

• Fan Favourite
• Most Creative
• Funniest/Ultimate Entertainer
• Best Creative Duo (Mom & Son, Grandparent and Grandchild, Daddy and Daughter, My Dog and I)
• The Youngest Dancer Award
• Best Newcomer Award

Judging criteria is based on musicality and personality, rhythm and technical ability, and creativity and individuality.

Judges will select one BallroomBees champion from each age group, each of whom will win HK$2,000! Those in second place get a full BallroomBees uniform and those in third place win BallroomBees shoes, a bag and T-shirt!
