A signature highlight camp for Summer, students get to experience what life would be like as a Marine biologist on this course. They spend the day with THS marine biologists learning about marine animals and their interactions by touching and observing the animals in the tanks.
Students will also explore the school's Marine Science Center, participate in animal dissections, use microscopes, learn how to feed and take care of live animals, and discover fascinating facts about their favorite sea creatures!

On the Boat Building Academy, your child will learn to build a boat using the simple "stitch and glue" method, where flexible plywood is cut into panels and glued into shape before being sheathed in fiberglass. Covering the theory and techniques of construction using composite materials, your child should be able to launch and test the new hull by the end of the program!
The program is led by experienced THS staff and this is a compact accelerated course for those interested in building and working with their hands.
