Mulberry House International Kindergarten (MHKG) is very excited to announce they are opening a new bilingual immersion international kindergarten in September 2020 in a beautiful setting at the Mayfair By the Sea in Providence Bay, Tai Po.
Officially approved by the EDB, combined with the full support of the local community, parents and teachers, Mulberry House International Kindergarten will offer an inquiry-based bilingual curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for children aged 0 – 6 years old. They also offer an array of great extra-curricular activities (ECAs) such as activities for under 3s as well as STEM, Music, Arts, Sports, Literacy, and an exciting Forest School Program.
This warm, welcoming school offers a personalised approach to learning. The curriculum encompasses literacy and numeracy outcomes to prepare your children for the next stage of their life. Through inquiry and planned learning opportunities, Mulberry House will nurture positive attitudes and behaviors for children to become confident communicators and make learning meaningful and relevant. Combined with an authentic bilingual immersion program, this unique combination is implemented through a hands-on and engaging holistic program. See all Mulberry House’s programs here!
Mulberry House is passionate about its belief that a quality early years program is crucial for the future. Their aim is to instill in students a love of learning, natural curiosity, cultural awareness, confidence, and global responsibility – even while learning to read, write, and solve problems. They strive to work in partnership with the parent community to provide the best possible start for each unique child.
At Mulberry House, they believe the environment is the third teacher. They have over 20,000 sq ft of intentionally designed educational space with both outdoor and indoor playgrounds that extend into the long waterfront along with Mayfair by the Sea. MHKG's location has immeasurable benefits as it also includes access to a Forest School natural environment providing valuable experiences to supplement classroom learning. All this natural, cultural, and intellectual goodness works with and magnifies the benefits of their bilingual immersion program!
All Mulberry House International Kindergarten teachers are qualified, caring and experienced early years experts who are passionate about unlocking every child's unique potential. The low student to teacher ratio (1:8) allows the teachers to personalize each child’s learning every step of the way as well as ensuring a high level of student-teacher communication to further enhance their bilingualism through authentic interactions. This begins at the admission process when the educational staff work with parents to get to know the child and the family before they can begin their educational journey.
