Nestled in the heart of Kwun Tong, Smashroom offers a unique and exhilarating way to release pent-up stress and frustration. This innovative rage room concept provides a safe and controlled environment for people to literally smash their worries away. At Smashroom, participants can unleash their feelings by breaking a variety of objects, including glass bottles, dishes, furniture (such as wardrobes, coffee tables, and sofas), and electronic appliances like computers and other large devices.
The basic “smashing” package, priced at HK$150, includes 10 glass bottles, 5 dishes, 2 random appliances, and 5 glasses for a 15-minute session. For those needing extra time to vent, an additional 15 minutes can be added for HK$100, with options to include more items. Booking is made easy through WhatsApp or Instagram, ensuring a seamless reservation process.
Smashroom prioritizes safety, providing participants with protective clothing and helmets. The facility caters to individuals aged 13 and above, making it suitable for teenagers and adults looking for an unconventional way to manage stress. While scientific studies on rage rooms are limited, many participants report feeling a sense of relief and catharsis after a session. The combination of physical exertion and the act of breaking things can serve as a form of stress management for some individuals.
Operating hours: daily from 12:00pm – 10:00pm
