If you’ve lived in Hong Kong for a while, you’ve probably seen the Aqualuna, a red-sail Chinese junk boat, zipping across the harbor. The views are some of the best you can get of the city skyline, and the boat itself is a real icon.
This year, Aqualuna is launching a new dim sum day cruise that takes voyagers from Central Pier into the old fishing port of Aberdeen, giving a completely different experience. Tuck into delectable dim sum specialties created by the chefs of Dim Sum Library as you sail past old fishing junks and sampans side-by-side with magnificent private yachts. Aberdeen is one of Hong Kong’s most intriguing neighborhoods, and to see it from the deck of the Aqualuna is a real treat.
The dim sum cruise departs every Sunday and Public Holiday on its 2-hour roundtrip cruise to Aberdeen (1:00-3:00pm). The costs are HK$399 per adult and HK$299 per child.
