Kowloon Park, once an important military base overlooking Victoria Harbour, is home not only to an Aviary and Bird Lake with flamingoes, but also to an excellent sports and pool complex, offering four heated indoor pools, including a 50m main pool, two 25m training pools and a 21m diving pool with seven springboards and four dive platforms, as well as an expansive outdoor area with three pools and circular paddling pool, all surrounded by deck chairs perfect for catching some rays.
The outdoor pools are great during the hot weather and are linked by waterfalls and set in the relative calm of Kowloon Park.
Swimming fans of all ages.
The pools are open from 6.30am to 12noon, from 1pm to 5pm, and from 6pm to 10pm. The indoor pools close for annual maintenance between 16 April and 5 June, while the outdoor pools close from 1 November to 15 April.
