Discovery Center Summer Camp In Jakarta For Kids

School is almost out! Kids of Jakarta…rejoice! Parents of Jakarta…prepare! If you have a pre-schooler or a kindergartener to entertain over the coming summer weeks, Little Steps may have the answer: Discovery Center Summer Camp.
Discovery Center is a well-established Jakarta preschool with three campuses in Jakarta; two in Menteng and one in Cipete. Founded by an American early-childhood educator and Montessori instructor, Discovery Center employs a modified Montessori method that is appropriate for a multi-lingual student body. Children are encouraged to learn through play, experience and discovery.
The Discovery Center summer camp runs for seven weeks, and parents can enrol their children for the entire program, or on a week-by-week basis. Each week of camp has a set of unique activities around this year’s theme of Habits. Children will participate in field trips (hello Sea World!!!), art projects, science experiments, puppet shows, games and all sorts of fun. There’s even plans for a cookout this year. And that, urban kids, is the essence of summer right there!
