Want to build a sand castle with the kiddos close to Jakarta? Then Ancol Beach Garden in North Jakarta is your place! It has two main beaches, Carnival and Festival Beach, plus lots of interesting activities for the fam. Let’s go!
With 500 meters of beach, Ancol Beach Garden offers a refreshing view of the high seas. This beach also has a long wooden bridge that stands along the sea, which is a most favorite photo op, because the ocean here seems to have no boundaries. The bridge connects you to the only restaurant in Ancol, Le Bridge. Dine at sunset at this family-friendly restaurant, and enjoy the breathtaking views!
Before or after your meal, you’ll want to take part in all of the activities here. There’s a jogging track, volleyball and basketball courts, as well as water sports such as jet skiing, canoeing, windsurfing, and sailing. Enjoying the scenery on a water bike or a traditional boat is highly recommended for the whole family. And for something just perfect for your little ones, try out the colorful swan boats!
Entertainment and beach galore, in an easy to reach location.
The whole family. Le Bridge is also a great date night spot!
Try the Gondola, a skylift cable car that will "fly" you across Jakarta's bay. Woohoo!
