Gelora Bung Karno or GBK is the largest sports complex in Jakarta and is open to the public. Many areas can be used for free, many families go to the outer skirts of the stadium for walking, biking, or running. If you have a toddler or small child in tow, Jakarta has a plethora of indoor and outdoor playgrounds you can go to. The outdoor ones are great for nice weather, but on rainy days you can choose the indoor air-conditioned playgrounds instead. Almost every mall in Jakarta has a playground on-site, while some of the outdoor ones have a small waterpark area.
