Eat & Play With The Kids
This lovely establishment is the brainchild of husband and wife team and parents, Gary and Kathryn. Located in Sri Petaling, a suburb in Kuala Lumpur famous for it’s cafes, bakeries, restaurants and eateries, The Workshop offers some delights for the whole family to enjoy.
Finding the café can be a little tricky, you must look for the stairs leading to Bako Korean BBQ and then take the lift to the third floor. The Workshop offers a selection of soups, salads, appetizers and a fusion of Asian-Western mains such as Chef’s Tanned Roasted Pretty Chicken and Baked Fish Fillet. The limited kids menu is available with options including Mac Says Cheeezee or the Tomato Eggy Baked Rice. There’s also a small selection of homemade cupcakes and desserts, as well as coffee and tea.
The main attraction here is the mini play gym at a corner of the café which houses some slides, a trampoline, and a ball pit offering the perfect solution for parents with active kids while you get to enjoy your meal.

Here’s a place where you can have your cake and eat it too! Little ones can play to their heart’s content in a secure area while you dine in peace. Even the toilets are kid-friendly with two kid-sized toilets and a sink for your mini people.

Families with young children will enjoy the mini play gym. For those looking for the perfect venue to throw a children’s party, this might just be the place for you!
What Else:
Remember to bring socks for the kids (and adults) if you plan to enter the play area or socks can be purchased at RM5 a pair. There are plans to offer various workshops here in the near future for both adults and kids such as cooking classes, arts and craft and more. Watch this space! There is also a small section of the café where specialty toys such as LEGO are sold.
