Love Malaysian food as much as we do? Well, Malaysians might have 99 problems, but food is definitely not one of them! Eating (and loving) Malaysian food should be a prerequisite for anyone proclaiming to be a gastronome. Malaysian cuisine is, like the country itself, culturally rich and diverse. Drawing from Malay, Chinese and Indian ethnicities, there are no shortage of flavours colliding in the nation’s cooking.
In conjunction with Malaysia’s National Day, IOI Mall wants to treat you to some of the best local delicacies including the very well loved Milo! Get into a food coma as you indulge in lots of nasi lemak and apam balik. Frequently referred to as the national dish of Malaysia, Nasi Lemak can be consumed at breakfast, lunch or dinner. On the other hand, Apam Balik is a Southeast Asian fluffy pancake with cream corn and peanuts. This soft pancake which is usually made to order has a thick surface with thin and crispy crust. Sweet and savoury done right!
