Founded in 1989 by Suraya Ahmad Kamil, Aurora School of Dance has two studios located in Subang Jaya and Kota Damansara. Dance classes are offered to children as young as 3 years, with options such as Classical Ballet, Modern Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Indian Classical and Modern Theater. The school also participates in numerous performances and competitions both locally and abroad, with both students and teachers having clinched multiple scholarships and awards.

Dancesteps Studio was founded by local dancer and choreographer Shirena Hamzah, a familiar face in KL social’s circles. The dance academy offers classes in several dance genres including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Contemporary from amateur and junior levels, to professional dance and teaching programs. Classes are available for children from age 3 to 17 years. Their main studio is at Solaris Mont Kiara, and more recently a second studio was set up in Desa ParkCity.

As part of the Sutra Foundation helmed by renowned dancer and artistic director Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, Sutra Academy offers training in Bharata Natyam (Kalakshetra school) and Odissi (Deba Prasad Parampara) and nurtures potential talents who are keen to develop a professional career in dance. At times, the academy also conducts workshops in dance, drama or other techniques of performing arts given by visiting artists.
