Immerse Yourself In A Stunning Oasis Of Nature, Art, And History

Immerse Yourself in a Stunning Oasis of Nature, Art, and History

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the lush greenery of the China-Malaysia Friendship Garden. Located in the tranquil Anjung Floria park just off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, this park was created in 2014 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.

As you step into the garden, be greeted by a pair of 200-year-old Qilin statues and a wooden plaque above the doorway bearing a Chinese couplet, symbolizing the enduring friendship between the two nations. Designed in the style of a Lingnan Garden, this park reflects the six elements of mountain, stone, water, building, plants, and calligraphy.

Admire the limestone landscape from Yingde County in Guangdong Province that was used to construct the mountain scenery, cliff and pool layout, and the tower within the garden. You’ll also find white cempaka trees, a symbol of harmony between Malaysia and China, along with bamboo, bonsai, and Maple trees.

Take a leisurely stroll in the exquisite courtyard and breathe in the fresh air while admiring the blooming florescent jewels. And don’t forget to check out the pavilion reserved for renowned calligraphers and painters who seek to draw out their artistic inspiration.

So, if you’re tired of shopping malls and crave a nature retreat, visit the China-Malaysia Friendship Garden for a relaxing green escape. And while you’re there, don’t forget to catch a glimpse of the modern Seri Saujana bridge that sits behind the park, blending tradition and modernity in a spectacular way.
