Home » Kuala Lumpur » Explore Agrotourism At Selangor Fruit Valley, Malaysia
If you have gadget-addicted city smaller kids who hardly spend time in the great outdoors, perhaps it’s time to plan a day trip to the Selangor Fruits Valley. Here, they’ll get reacquainted with nature via a tram ride, view the fruit plantations, meet some farm animals, visit an authentic kampung house, sample local fruits, tap on a rubber tree, go boating and engage in an interactive learning experience.
Plan for nearly an hour’s drive from KL City to get to this venue located in Batang Berjuntai, Selangor. Tickets can be purchased at the venue starting from RM$15 for adults and RM$10 for children and senior citizens (Malaysians) while for international visitors, tickets are priced at RM$30 for adults and RM$25 for children and senior citizens. The venue is open daily from 9am to 4pm (excluding Hari Raya).
It's an excellent way to get back into nature, and experience 'village life' especially if you or your family are typical city dwellers.
Families of all ages, and younger children in particular.
The overall visit will take about 1.5 hours. Best to come by earlier to avoid a long waiting time for the trams.
Newer activities will be introduced this year such as making salted duck eggs, cycling, and fishing while a nursery selling fruits, vegetables, and fertilizer will be available on weekends.
