City dwellers looking to experience nature and fish leisurely in a safe, conducive environment can head to Hulu Langat Fishing Resort for a hassle-free, catch and release fishing experience. Gather the family unit and take approximately 40 minutes to drive here for a day trip, or opt to stay overnight at the chalets here, as the midnight fishing session runs from 12am to 8am.

For day-trippers, prices start from RM$80 per person for the use of the long jetty for four hours. Alternatively, book one of the private chalets which come with its own private mini platform if you prefer some privacy away from the crowd. You may bring your own fishing rod, or rent from them at RM$50 per rod. Bait must also be purchased from the resort at RM$20 for 5kg. Do note that this is a catch and release fishing pond, hence you’ll not be able to bring home any of your catches!
