Flourish Bakehouse is a newly opened bakery cafe at the quaint Tanglin Road, Phoenix Park. Unlike other alfresco cafes, it boasts a large lawn space where customers can choose to sit outdoors or borrow a picnic mat to sprawl out with their fresh bakes and coffee while watching the kids frolic on the grass.
The baked goods are sold at SG$12 for a box of three pieces, or SG$20 for a box of five pieces of your choice during the soft launch. You’ll want to go early as they are baked in small batches and the popular pastries and cakes are usually snagged up quickly.
Savory treats include Ham Leek & Parmesan Scones, Sundried Tomato, Basil & Feta Muffin, Mozzarella Potato Rosemary Galettes, and Brown Butter Pumpkin & Sage Quiches. For the sweet tooth, there’s gluten-free Lemon Polenta Cake, Raspberry & Pistachio Friand, and Coffee & Cardamom Walnut Cake. Order a cup of coffee to go with from SG$3.50, the beans are sourced from Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee!
We love the spacious lawn area for the kids to play and run around while the adults enjoy their bakes. While there isn't an extensive playground set up for the kids, there’s a wooden seesaw on the lawn.
Families who are looking for a kid-friendly cafe to enjoy coffee and pastries.
The bakery cafe is also a pet-friendly space for paw-parents to bring their furkids here.
Opening hours: 8am – 2pm, daily.
