Hawker culture is one of the most defining characteristics of Singapore. However, our hawker stalls have taken a hit since the pandemic began, impacting the livelihoods of many hawkers. In a show of solidarity, Shangri-La Singapore is supporting our local hawkers. Together with its restaurant The Line, it will be serving signature dishes from two local hawkers, 786 Char Kway Teow and Ah Mei Handmade noodles. These offerings will be part of the Line’s Weekend Menu for a limited time, amongst other international flavors in the restaurant’s à la carte buffet menu.
You can also help make an impact! Simply make a reservation via the Chope dining platform (SG$88++ per person), and a joint donation of SG$4 per diner to the Pay-It-Forward hawker program by the Federation of Merchants’ Associations, Singapore. Funds raised will be used to purchase meals from hawkers, to be given to those in need.
Available for dinner only on Fridays to Sundays from 6pm to 9.30pm.
