
If your child is a talented musician, the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) wants to hear from them. Benefits? They could be mentored by professional musicians from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and gain exposure to a variety of music-making experiences, from chamber performances to playing at Victoria Concert Hall. They could represent Singapore at an international level!

Pave your child’s path for future success and recognition in the music community with SNYO!
Being part of the SNYO helps children excel in musical abilities, develop strong character, and achieve a high level of artistic expression.
Positions are available in all orchestral sections, including strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, and percussion from individuals aged 10 to 18 years (as of the audition year). Pianists aged 10 to 13 years who demonstrate piano proficiency and are interested in learning a second instrument, as well as young violinists keen to explore the viola, are also encouraged to apply.
Upcoming events include the SSO Open House on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 9am-6pm, at Victoria Concert Hall and the SNYO Pre-Tour Concert on Saturday, June 7, 2025, 7.30pm, at Esplanade Concert Hall.
