Along Pasir Ris Park’s shores lies a vibrant marketplace by the beach; a perfect Sunday outing with the family. Buy a picnic mat for S$3, join a beach volleyball game, rent bikes and ride around or merely shop shop shop for trinkets, musical instruments, baubles – whatever is on tap for the day. At last count, there were over 60 vendors gracing the seaside, always on hand for a chat and discussion. Try and seek out old Uncle and get him gabbing about bargain hunting. Aiyo!
Mundi Market brings locals and expats together within its community eclectic marketplace, where you can find wines, bikes, organic foods, handicrafts, artists and more. Become a vendor yourself, meeting new people while hawking your own talents or wares. Table rentals start from just S$33 per day and include discounts at Mbar.
