The Rainbow Center serves infants, children, and youth with a diverse range of special developmental and learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and multiple disabilities, which may involve a combination of intellectual, physical, visual, and/or hearing impairments. These community services were appointed by The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to run the Early Intervention Program for Infants and Children (EIPIC). The program provides social, educational, and rehabilitative services for children from birth to 6 years old who have been diagnosed to be at risk of having a handicapping condition or special need that will affect or her development. A one-on-one assessment will be personally conducted by one of their Certified Trainers when you first visit the Singapore Brain Development Center. At The Grounds Therapy, they believe in play-based experiences for young children with tailored activities for different learning needs. Their Early Intervention Program curriculum supports children from 18 months old to 7 years in realizing their potential so they can navigate society with dignity and confidence. The Grounds Therapy’s Early Intervention Program runs 2-5 days a week from 9am-1pm and 2pm -4.30pm.
Therapists collaborate with parents to provide well-rounded support in the program and home environment. Each child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) set for them each semester and they can work with the child's preschool outside of the IEP and discuss how to better support each child.
