CIS’s Magical Garden Party celebration marks nine years of learning in their internationally recognised Outdoor Discovery Centres. So what can you expect? A trio of great things, namely:
Get creative as you craft butterfly crowns at Betty Butterfly’s arts studio, tackle challenges in Charlie Caterpillar’s obstacle course, and explore math concepts like volume and mass in Aunty Ant’s mud and sand kitchen.
CIS’s Outdoor Discovery Centre fosters creativity, critical thinking and hands-on exploration. Purposefully designed spaces like the mud kitchen, bike track, and sandpits facilitate a learning through play approach and inspire curiosity and imagination.
CIS was the first school in Singapore to integrate the natural environment into everyday learning in their Outdoor Discovery Centre (ODC).
In fact, the ODC was so groundbreaking that it was featured as one of Finland’s HundrED global educational innovations in their centenary year, and earned media recognition worldwide.
