It’s inevitable – with your busy schedule as a working professional or parent, you’re bound to miss out on catching blockbuster flicks in cinemas before they end their limited run. But no worries! Scattered across the island, there are ways to still catch favorite films with the whole family even after they’ve stopped screening in cinemas – and all for free! Here’s five ways you and your fam can plan your next movie date.
Residents in the eastern side of Singapore can conveniently take solace at this neighborhood hub for a free movie screening. Happening almost nightly at their Festive Plaza space, gather with fellow groups of families and friends and cozy up with family-friendly movies on a large screen, as part of the community’s effort to encourage bonds among people. Also look out for their movie marathons over holiday seasons, that features back-to-back screenings and eateries open 24-hours.
