Nature-Inspired COMO Adventure Grove Playground At Botanic Gardens

The latest extension of Singapore’s iconic Botanic Gardens, COMO Adventure Grove is now open! This nature-based playground creates play elements inspired by forest canopies, jungle trails, and Singapore’s diverse flora. It’s a biophilic wonderland designed to inspire curiosity and encourage exploration. Highlights of this playground include a giant sandpit that sits amidst lush greenery centered around a towering 10-meter banyan tree. This Grove is augmented by sprawling branches, created with bespoke specialists Kinetics, who transformed steel posts into hand-painted tree bark-textured trunks! For Tarzan fans, this area is a real treat,  as with a real Banyan tree, the Banyan tree tower is recreated to have similar veins and props. Scale, swing or rest amongst the 13 branches fitted with climbing ropes, swings, circular nets, and hammocks for kids of all ages. Score a glimpse at the nesting birds, flying squirrels, and colorful insects of the neighboring trees. Of course, a playground ain’t complete without slides! Two long tube slides at 4 meters and 2.1 meters, designed for speed and thrills, allows kiddos to exit the canopy with an adrenaline-pumping ride that’ll have them clambering up for more.
