Once you download the mobile app, as users walk around the real world, Pokémon characters appear on the game map. If you come within a close, specific Pokémons will appear on your device screen and you can throw Poké Balls at them to capture them. Ultimately, the aim of the game is to collect as many different characters as possible. We think it's a good way to clock in some additional steps especially if you're already outdoors!
