Hidden within the lush foliage of Botanic Gardens lies Como Adventure Park, a sprawling nature-inspired playground that has plenty of obstacle course features that will excite kids of all ages. They can start with the climbing ropes, move on to the nets and finish off with the hammocks. What’s more, there are wild animals in the area so keep your eyes peeled for bird species, squirrels and insects.

The Tampines Green Forest Park Playrgound is split into 3 main sections: the fitness corner, a tower with nets and a large playground structure so that everybody of different age groups will have something to do during their visit. Kids and teens can challenge themselves to the cargo net course by climbing up the web to reach the first tower, before crossing the bridges to reach the main slide. With a little challenge involved, things can get tricky!

Luxus Hills Park is situated in between Yio Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio, and is also home to the Luxus Hills Playground. The space is located on knolls, which kids can try climbing up and down on, aside from taking the slide. The main structure is also a continuous adventure filled with climbing frames, merry-go-rounds, swings and balancing platforms – a full and fun workout!

Dragon-themed playgrounds were a popular thing in Singapore’s past, but now they’re few and far between. A modern take on a dragon playground with an obstacle course twist can be found in the far east at Pasir Ris Street 51, which is a huge yellow and orange structure with climbing bars, nets and slides. No matter what age, this playground will be fun for kids and teens alike.

Little ones that love all things astrology and space-themed will enjoy the Adventure Playground located within West Coast Park. There are multiple playground platforms that kids can explore here, with the main one being the space net structure for them to navigate through the complicated human-sized hoops. Aside from that, adventurers can race each other through the pyramid netting and sand pit course.

From the climbing steps to the balancing logs, Jubilee Park Playground is a fun-filled option with a challenge. The 2 slides side by side is a great way for best friends or siblings to have a laugh together, before racing off to the netted platform to jump and bounce for a bit. Make sure to stay hydrated with the nearby water coolers. Best part? The playground is open 24 hours!

For a relatively obstacle challenge, the playground at Senja Heights will be perfect. It has some low-level obstacle features of ropes and platforms, where little ones can train their motor skills, as well as a hut that kids can work their way towards easily. Families with toddlers can also make their way to the toddler dedicated area, and there’s a hawker center right next door if you get famished after play time.

Head to the east for this relatively new playground in the Bedok North estate, which stands out thanks to its vertical structure. Its unique shape means that kids can have an obstacle course experience by climbing up and down the different tunnel-like passageways. There are also ropes and platforms for added fun throughout.

Arguably one of the best playgrounds in Singapore is undoubtedly Marsiling Park Playground in Woodlands. Made up of 4 different areas, one includes a ropes obstacle course that kids can get up to endless fun with. Over at the area with swings and slides, keep your eyes peeled for the balancing beams shaped like mushrooms and a crocodile, making your play date extra cute!

While ForestPlay Nature Adventure Playground is not a free-entry playground, it’s extensive obstacle course within the space is well worth the entry fee of SG$39.90 for a 2-hour session. Fun awaits at their obstacle course where kids can put their skills to the test, aside from the expression wall, swings and outdoor cooking area, the little ones can even build the structures, adding on to the obstacle course for future play sessions!
