The Original Singapore Walks

Showing Off Singapore’s Lesser Visited Sites

From graveyards to smoke houses, wet markets to gun batteries, The Original Singapore Walks is all about bringing its guests to places less travelled. Since 2003, a group of well-versed researcher-guides have been taking locals and visitors to Singapore off the beaten track and revealing to them the other side of Singapore. From tours that focus on Singapore’s military history, to walks spotlighting its colonial past to adventures in Little India, Haw Par Villa and the Changi War Trails – there’s something to appeal to every interest. The Chinatown walking tour is particularly good for those who have kids in tow. The recently refreshed tour appeals to all the senses as it takes visitors through unique Chinese architecture, traditional shops, temples and even to taste a selection of local delights.

Why Little Steps Loves It:

It’s easy to join the tours with no pre-booking required (though it is appreciated for the Changi Museum War Trail tour) and meeting points generally made at MRT stations. Simply turn up, meet and pay your guide and walk on.

Who It's Perfect For:

Locals or visitors to Singapore keen to see another side of the city.

What Else:

Note that tours do not run on public holidays.
