What’s the best way to beat the tropical Malaysian heat? Spend the day splashing around a waterpark! Desaru Coast’s Adventure Waterpark, offers visitors a reprieve from the heat.
Adventure Waterpark is conveniently located next to the beach on the beautiful east coast and is part of the up and coming vacation destination of Desaru Coast. The water park itself is a family paradise with something for everyone. For the littles, there’s Kids Ahoy, a section of the park that features 13 waterslides designed for the younger sliders as well as 3 sets of water play equipment, each for a different age group. The adults and older kids will enjoy a variety of adrenaline-pumping slides and rides including Kraken’s Revenge, a wet and dry roller coaster that reaches speeds up to 70 km/hr. The whole family can splash away together in Malaysia’s largest wave pool, complete with a sandy shoreline, and the lazy river that floats throughout the park.
Near the waterpark is a beautiful beach, a golf course designed by the world-renown golfer, Ernie Els, a fruit orchard with tours available, and several family-friendly as well as luxurious hotels. Besides more than 20 wet and dry rides, attractions, and fun, visitors can feed hungry tummies at the Octo-Bites Cafe at the Kid’s Ahoy Zone, River Grill for fast food, and Kelong Eatery for Western and Asian fare.
Day tickets are priced at RM$75 for both adults and children (age 3 years onwards) with MyKad and RM$110 without MyKad. They’ve left no rock unturned when it comes to both safety and fun, so grab your family and sunglasses and head straight to Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark.
