Just a short drive from the many hotels in Batu Ferrengi you will find the Craft Batik. A large store selling hand crafted batik fabrics made on-site, they offer a behind the scenes tour of their facility as well. You will see first hand how the white fabric is prepped and stretched before a design is sketched and then repeated in wax. Then watch in amazement as the resident artists create fabric masterpieces right in front of you!
When you are finished watching the skilled artisans, your little tykes can take a turn painting their very own batik squares. They will be taught how to blend and brush colors on just like the pros. And when they are all done, you will have a souvenir that is worthy of a frame on your wall!
