COMO Maalifushi is not only a dreamy destination, but it also boasts a big eco-friendly heart. The resort is big on protecting the region’s underwater world and hosts a great coral propagation program which involves planting new coral frames for fresh reefs to flourish. Families can go on guided dives and sponsor these coral frames, tracking progress via photographic updates. Above water, the excellent kids' club (PLAY by COMO) lets your little ones continue the eco-activities with crab racing, nature walks, and sandcastle building. We also love their very cool kids summer camps!
The resort also offers amazing things for families including surfing, fishing, and whale shark fun!

The speedy 35-minute journey by speedboat from Male airport means that your children can be hanging out at The Dhoni Club (and you can be quaffing a cocktail) soon after touching down on the tarmac. Built around traditional Maldivian boats which have been converted into play spaces, the kids’ club facilities include a climbing wall, tree house, mini football pitch, and a 12ft chalkboard. There’s also a surf school, diving school and a marine biologist on site. Oh, and the unlimited free ice cream at the pool bar is an absolute winner (for kids and adults!).
