Harvard Secondary School Program

Smithsonian Summer Camp

University of Pennsylvania Pre-College Program

The University of Pennsylvania Pre-College Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to experience Ivy League academics and campus life. Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program

The Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program (SIP) is an exciting opportunity for high school girls and non-binary students to learn more about computer science and technology. This free, virtual 2-week program teaches coding skills, encourages creativity, and builds a supportive community of future tech leaders.

The Summer Immersion Program takes place in July and August, with two sessions available in 2025: Session 1 from July 7 to 18 and Session 2 from July 28 to August 8. Classes meet Monday through Friday for 2 to 3 hours, followed by independent work time and optional student hours. The program is open to current 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students in the United States and international students aged 14 to 18.

The Summer Immersion Program participants will learn game design and beginner computer science concepts, build and present coding projects, and gain practical college and career advice. They will also explore tech careers through partner-sponsored events, collaborate with classmates in sisterhood activities, and receive support from dedicated teaching teams and mentors. No prior coding experience is required, making this program an excellent introduction to computer science for students of all backgrounds.
