Ocean Wise Online Learning For Kids
Ocean Wise brings the ocean to your living room, with resources for kids to learn to care for the ocean and the animals in it.
You can keep small kids engaged with options to download coloring sheets and diving into fun, ocean-inspired crafts and activities. There is the broadcasting of live events, which families and educators can join to find out more and also ask questions on discussion boards. You can also watch live the sea otters eat and play, penguins waddle, and jellies float in the Vancouver Aquarium from the comfort of your home.
Ocean Wise also offers Ocean Literacy Courses, which are interactive and comprehensive online classrooms for educators and students to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the ocean.
If you are looking for something more personal, there are Virtual AquaClass programs to be booked privately (for a fee). Each 45-minute session allows your kids to meet online with an Ocean Wise Educator to dive deeper into learning topics with an interactive presentation, multi-media visuals, and Q&A.
